Today’s reading appears to be work-related for some of you. We have two players, The King of Coins RX and The Queen of Cups. These are two very different characters indeed. One is concerned only with profit, he wants to keep those cogs turning in the Eight of Pentacles, the other is concerned with your welfare. They are supportive and encouraging.
Some of you may be trying to find balance today in a situation either with work or in your personal life. You’re trying to keep the peace and keep two or more people happy. But with the Two of Wands, there is a choice to make and Temperance RX shows us that some things do not mix well. Either you please one and make the other upset, or vice versa. Look at the figure trying to hold the machinery together in the Eight of Pentacles. How long can they take the strain? The two of cups brings a wave of change and a feeling of equality and harmony.
Ask yourself this today – Do you feel peace or tension? Do you feel good or bad? That King of Coins looks like a bully and he doesn’t look like he’s going to compromise in this situation, but perhaps our Two of Cups brings a solution? There may be a better option out there, there may be a better offer. In matters of the heart, the choice is clear. Either you remain the puppet or you cut the strings.
